I had the incredible opportunity to travel with OneWorld Schoolhouse to St. Lucia over the March Break to participate in their Rainforest of Reading Program. I knew this was going to be a special trip, but I had no idea what I was truly in store for. It was a week of unforgettable experiences: meeting other authors, marching in parades, sharing my book with thousands of children, hairpin bends, goats and goats and goats, zip lining, Instagram stories, and so much more. A huge thank you to Sonya White and Richard Clewes of OneWorld Schoolhouse for the work they do promoting literacy and giving kids access to great books in St. Lucia.
